BACHELOR FILM 2015 - PARROT AWAY: Parrot Away is a bachelor project from The Animation Workshop in Denmark. It is a 5-minute 3D animated short film that will be released in January 2015 made by four animators and four CG-artists.
SYNOPSIS: In a petshop on a lonely island, the ugly parrot Pierre wants to get bought by a pirate. The flamboyant pirates only buy the most beautiful parrots. But finally, one day he gets bought by a desperate pirate and sails off for adventure. But adventure is nothing like Pierre expected...
I am glad that kids’ oriented short films are also being made. Now a days people focus more on serious topics and issues for their film. Kids will enjoy watching parrot on large screens.
Feeling pitty for the poor parrot. Subject of the film sounds interesting and story is a bit sad but i am sure kids will like this movie. 3D animated movies are capturing the whole cinemas now even elders do watch.
